Eunice V. Ray, President

In 1991 Mrs. Ray was appointed by Secretary of Defense Dick Cheney to the Defense Advisory Committee on Women in the Service. The DACOWITS is the principal advisor to the Secretary of Defense on issues related to women in the military. 

In 1996, Mrs. Ray co-founded RSVP America, a national grassroots campaign to Restore Social Virtue and Purity to America.  Mrs. Ray has authored and published training and educational materials for activist groups to reach educators, legislators and mothers and fathers.  Mrs. Ray appears on national radio and television broadcasts and speaks across the country to legislators, church and civic groups seeking to restore legal protections for women and children in all American institutions. 

Mrs. Ray currently serves as the President of First Principles, Inc. She lives with her family on a farm in Kentucky.

Linda Jeffrey, Ed.D., BS, MS, PA

Dr. Jeffrey is the Director of Research for First Principles, Inc.  Since April, 2000, she has coordinated the RSVPAmerica campaign’s data collection and analysis efforts regarding the Kinsey Reports impact on state criminal codes in thirty states, a summary of which was published by the American Legislative Exchange Council in 2004.  She received her Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Louisville, and also holds a Master of Science degree in genetics, a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry, and a Physician Assistant degree. Dr. Jeffrey continues her research, writing and consultation for First Principles projects providing educational materials for the restoration of American History in law and public policy.

In Memoriam: Colonel Ron Ray

Colonel Ronald D. Ray (1942-2020) was a practicing attorney in Kentucky and a highly decorated combat veteran of the Vietnam War (two Silver Stars, a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart).  He served as a Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense during the Reagan Administration and was appointed by President Bush to serve on the American Battle Monuments Commission (1991-1994), and on the 1992 Presidential Commission on the Assignment of Women in the Armed Forces.  From 1990 through 1994, he served as Military Historian and Deputy Director of Field Operations for the U.S. Marine Corps Historical Center, Washington, D.C. Colonel Ray and his wife Eunice worked together through First Principles, Inc. for several decades, up until his death in 2020. Read more about Colonel Ray’s life and accomplishments here.
