Churches –  ideas just for you:
 
*   During announcements, ask the congregation to fill out a card with the name and mailing address of an immediate family member or church member who is in the Armed Forces.  Appoint a church member to gather the names and information from the cards, then send a copy of the book to each military member with a letter from the pastor.  This gesture serves as an invaluable source of spiritual encouragement and a special remembrance from everyone back home. 
 
*   Acknowledge Veterans on Memorial Day (last Mon. of May), Flag Day (June 14) Independence Day (July 4th), Veterans Day (Nov. 11) and other patriotic holidays. Mention the book and make it available for purchase in your church bookstore or at a resource table.

                                –   Consider offering a free copy to everyone who is acknowledged.

Ideas for anyone, churches too:

*  Send a care package to a unit overseas and include copies of EBTC, along with a few favorite goodies, like beef jerky!  Visit anysoldier.com for addresses of men and women serving around the world.

*  Share the word with people you know.
