Two hundred and twenty-five years ago, kings, czars, sultans, emperors and other autocratic rulers dominated the Earth and virtually everyone who lived on it.  On September 17th of that year, a group of leaders assembled in Philadelphia to publicly propose the adoption of a written constitution for their new country. That document along with the Declaration of Independence would change the way the world saw and understood a country of the people, by the people and for the people.  Happy Constitution Day!
