Reaffirming “In God We Trust” as the Official Motto of the United States

Nov 1, 2011: This resolution passed in the House of Representatives by roll call vote. The totals were 396 Ayes, 9 Nays, 28 Present/Not Voting.

The resolution reaffirmed “In God We Trust” as the official motto of the United States,  supporting and encouraging the public display of the national motto in all public buildings, public schools, and other government institutions.
