PRESS RELEASE: Kentucky Supreme Court Declines to Hear Appeal by American Atheists

The Kentucky supreme Court, has declined to hear a case attacking the Kentucky Homeland Security Act for its reference to dependence on “Almighty God” as vital to the security of the Commonwealth.


Commonwealth of Kentucky Court of Appeals: Senators’ Brief of Amicus Curiae Col. Ron Ray and First Principles Press, together with Alabama Judge Roy Moore and the Foundation for Moral Law, filed an amicus curiae brief in the Kentucky Court of Appeals on behalf of 35 Kentucky Senators defending a Homeland Security Act that declared that “[t]he safety and security of the Commonwealth cannot be achieved apart from reliance upon Almighty God.”

Commonwealth of Kentucky Court of Appeals: Representatives’ Brief of Amicus Curia First Principles Press teamed together with Kentucky lawyers Jack Richardson, IV and Richard L. Masters to file an amicus curiae brief in the Kentucky Court of Appeals on behalf of 96 Kentucky Representatives defending a Homeland Security Act that declared that “[t]he safety and security of the Commonwealth cannot be achieved apart from reliance upon Almighty God.”
